Matthews flattered by interest
Bluebirds chairman Peter Ridsdale confirmed earlier this month the Premier League pair were interested in signing Matthews.[LNB]The 17-year-old is regarded as one of the best young talents outside the top flight and he is tipped for a big future.[LNB]Cardiff have brought through the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Chris Gunter and Joe Ledley in recent years and Matthews is the latest to come through the ranks.[LNB]Arsenal and United are both expected to fight it out for Matthews' signature in this month's transfer window and the young full-back admits he would have seriously think about a move if either club firmed up their interest.[LNB]"It's all very flattering and if an offer ever came about then I'd have to think about it," Matthews told the Daily Mirror.[LNB][LNB] Cardiff v Blackpool.
