Mr Brown's last Cardiff game saw him send off Craig Noone at Derby County in the 1 - 1 draw at the end of November.
That was one of the five red cards he's dished out this season in 22 matches. He's also issued 55 yellow cards.
He will be assisted by Lee Metcalfe and Danny Gratton. The Fourth Official is Darren Bond.
Looking back at his career the game at Pride Park was his only City match to date.
