Malky looking for more
City boss Malky Mackay spoke to Talksport on the weekend. He told the All Sports Show: “We had 12 senior players leave the club in the summer, I’ve never been a situation where 12 players have left the club in the summer, it’s so many. “I obviously knew that when I came in but you’ve still got to fill gaps with experienced players. “We’ve managed to bring in nine players so we don’t really have any strength and depth so some of our youngsters are having to come in and play first team football for the first time so we’ve still got some work to do but I think that will be ongoing until the end of August. “We certainly need to bring a few more players in to battle through the 46 teams.”
