Kirkland about to be a Bluebird
News breaking on Saturday evening that Chris Kirkland has now decided to join Cardiff City. Cardiff are set to sign Chris Kirkland on an emergency loan. The Wigan keeper turned down an approach last week but Cardiff appear to have gone in again for the England capped keeper as cover for David Marshall and Tom Heaton. Marshall is on the bench each week but needs surgery on his elbow and there are reports that Tom Heaton is playing through a slight injury as well. There hasn't been an official announcement yet.
