The 28-year-old has been down the pecking order at Villa Park since arriving back in 2005, failing to establishing himself as the club's number one ahead of Thomas Sorensen, Scott Carson and most recently Brad Friedel.[LNB]Taylor has started just two games this season - the Intertoto Cup encounters against Danish side Odense back in July - but Bluebirds boss Dave Jones will see him as a much-needed arrival in the Welsh capital.[LNB]With regular goalkeepers Tom Heaton and Peter Enckelman out injured, Coventry keeper Dimi Konstantopoulos was brought in on loan towards the end of January.[LNB]But his embarrassing late own goal on his debut against Wolves and his involvement in another defensive mix-up at Norwich in midweek has forced Jones to turn to Taylor.[LNB]The former England Under-21 international could now make his Cardiff debut in Sunday's Severnside derby against fellow Championship promotion rivals Bristol City.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
