Ledley, pencilled in for the first of two operations on his hips at the end of the month that could rul;e him out for the rest of the season, is already in discussions over a new deal with the Championship club.[LNB]Jones told the club's official website: "Joe will be really missed and we hope that during the time he is recovering we can do a deal with him and put everything to rest for him and then he can concentrate on getting fit and starting to play again for us."[LNB]Ledley added: "I want to stay at Cardiff. I'm from here and my family are from here. Fans can say what they like, they pay the money to watch, but I'm committed to playing football and giving 100% to Cardiff."[LNB]With the surgery looming, Jones is "not confident" that Ledley will be able to return before the end of the season.[LNB]But the player himself admitted: "Hopefully I'll be back before the end of May - in time for the play-off games."[LNB][LNB]
