Jones takes Carrow Road point

Cardiff manager Dave Jones thought a draw was a fair reflection of the game after Norwich fought back to claim a 1-1 result at Carrow Road. Jon Parkin looked to have netted the winner on his Cardiff debut until Russell Martin equalised deep into stoppage time to earn a share of the spoils for the Canaries. Jones said: "This is a very difficult place to come to and we've had to defend for long periods but I don't think they created too many chances. "We probably had the better opportunities from our counter-attacks but we didn't take any of them and in the end it has cost us. "Obviously it's very frustrating to concede a goal right at the end especially when their lad hasn't really connected with it properly. I didn't actually think it was a goal at first but overall it was probably a fair result on the day. "Our fans were superb. It's a long, long way to come and I think in return they have seen a solid performance from their side. We have now taken four points from a side who are up there at the moment and if we did that with all our opponents I'd certainly be more than happy with that."
