Jones seeking positive reaction

Cardiff boss Dave Jones is looking to enjoy a better seven days ahead after what he described as "a bad week" for the club`s promotion bid. The Bluebirds went down 2-0 at Ipswich on Saturday, just four days after their unbeaten start to the season came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at Leicester. After back-to-back losses, Jones will be looking for a response from his side as they look to put things right in Saturday`s lunchtime kick-off against Millwall. Speaking after the reverse at Portman Road, Jones said: "Players have to be better than they were. "A lot of them got to the play-off final so they are not bad players. But any team is going to miss players like Michael Chopra, Craig Bellamy and Seyi Olofinjana but the other players are good enough. "We`re still up there and the only damage is to our pride. It has been a bad week for us. The goals we gave away have been poor goals."
