Jones hits back at critics

Cardiff manager Dave Jones hit back at his side's critics after the 1-1 draw at Burnley allowed bitter rivals Swansea to leapfrog them into third place in the npower Championship. Jay Rodriguez's 15th goal of the season put Burnley ahead but Craig Bellamy struck at the death to ensure the Bluebirds finished level on points with the Swans. Swansea thrashed relegated Sheffield United at the Liberty Stadium and their superior goal difference meant Jones' men - beaten in last season's Championship play-off final - finished fourth and now face in-form Reading over two legs in the play-off semi-finals. Jones said: "It's still a good achievement to get to the play-offs and I wish people would stop knocking us because we've not got automatic (promotion). "What about the other 20 clubs that haven't got it either? We've worked so hard this season. No-one thought we'd be anywhere near it with the transfer embargo that was on us. "It's still a good achievement, and I'm sure the other three teams will all be saying exactly the same. I don't think there's anything to be ashamed of or anything to be disappointed in."
