Thousands of fans have taken advantage of an idea by Jones to refund any 2010/11 season tickets purchased before December 31 should Cardiff secure promotion to the Premier League come May.[LNB]Although exact numbers are still to be calculated, the Bluebirds are expected to have come extremely close to reaching their 10,000 target - with a club-record 1,000 season tickets sold on Wednesday alone.[LNB]The money raised from the sales will go towards Cardiff's January war chest, with Jones in line to receive an estimated boost of around £3million.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "It says everything about how brilliant our fans really are. It also shows that everybody here is together and that's the most important thing.[LNB]"The chairman has promised that all the money that comes in will go to bringing in players. He was up here on Wednesday and took a list of players and now he's got to go out and try to get them - players we feel we can get and we can afford."[LNB][LNB]
