Jones: Cardiff worthy winners

Cardiff manager Dave Jones watched his side bring Leicester's winning streak to an end and then declared that he saw it coming right from the kick-off.

The Bluebirds claimed a well-deserved 2-0 npower Championship victory to put the skids on their visitors' run of five wins on the spin. Michael Chopra's 10th goal of the season set them on their way in the first half before on-loan Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey wrapped up the points after the break.

"We deserved the win from the very first minute. It was all about squeezing the game and we stopped them from using their spare midfield man," said a delighted Jones.

"Once we scored the second goal we shut them out and every one of our players put in a good shift tonight. They had a lot of the ball but couldn't do anything with it.

"We deserved the victory because we passed the ball well on a difficult pitch, kept possession and stopped them from playing."
