The Bluebirds play the first of four games in hand against QPR on Wednesday night knowing that maximum points could potentially lead them to the top of the Championship table.[LNB]Cardiff witnessed first-hand at Molineux on Sunday how tension and pressure in the stands can work its way onto the pitch, and Jones wants the Ninian Park faithful to get behind his players every step of the way between now and May.[LNB]"The fans are going to play a huge part for the rest of the season," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"Anyone who saw the game at Wolves could smell the fear around the place when we equalised. You could see that everyone was getting agitated and that transmitted through to the players. We are going to get to that stage at some point and when it happens we need the fans to be patient - that will be a key factor."[LNB]Wednesday's encounter against the R's will also see the return of former loanee Wayne Routledge after he left the Welsh capital in fairly acrimonious circumstances at the start of January. Jones added: "That's all done now and I don't look back. I'm pleased we were able to bring in Chris Burke and he's been outstanding for us."[LNB][LNB]
