Jones and Bothroyd shortlisted for monthly awards
It's little surprise to see the names of Dave Jones and Jay Bothroyd on the shortlists for the manager and player of the month awards rspectively. Jones has led Cardiff to a clean sweep of five victories from five matches during October while Bothroyd has taken the lead in the Championship top scorers table.Both men have a serious chance of winning their respective awards.The results will be announced on Thursday November 11th.The nominations for Manager of the Month are:Dave Jones, Steve Cotterill, Brendan Rodgers and Aidy Boothroyd.The nominations for Player of the Month are:Scott Sinclair, Liam Lawrence, Lewis McGugan and Jay Bothroyd.
