Jones a big draw in Chopra return

Michael Chopra has revealed the 'Dave Jones factor' played a big part in his decision to return to Cardiff and now he wants to fire the club into the Premier League for the first time.[LNB]The striker agreed a loan move back to Ninian Park from Sunderland just minutes before the January transfer window closed, with a permanent deal set to be signed in the summer. And he could not be more determined to shine now he is back in the Welsh capital.[LNB]He told the South Wales Echo: "I am so happy to be back and this time it will be for longer than a few months. I wanted to stay longer last time, but, when the loan ran out, I felt I might have a chance playing at Sunderland. That wasn't to be and I have done what I feel is best for my football career by rejoining Cardiff.[LNB]"My transfer will be signed and sealed in the summer. I am not going back to Sunderland - I am a Cardiff City player now. I am not keen to drop out of the Premier League but when you are not playing you may have to look at the next step. We all believe a top-two finish is within reach. Why aim for the play-offs when we are that close?[LNB]"It's good to be back. Most of the lads are still here from before and the staff are the same. That was a major influence on my decision. If Dave Jones had not been here, I might not have been here now. He had a big part to play in why I came.[LNB]"Personally, I will be judged on scoring goals. I have five so far this season and Ross McCormack is on 16. I believe I can catch him. I have lots of confidence and I'm chasing."[LNB][LNB]
