John joyous over Bluebirds move
Martin John is delighted to have signed a contract with Cardiff following a successful trial spell.
The left-back, who left Argentinian side Argentinos Juniors in June, has been handed a deal by boss Dave Jones after impressing in pre-season.
John made his debut in Wednesday night's Carling Cup victory over Burton and is looking forward to making his mark in south Wales.
"I'm very happy to be here," he told Cardiff City Player. "I've never really played at this standard before so it has taken some getting used to but it's coming around well.
"It's hard to adjust coming from Argentina to playing in the British game but I think I've been progressing every day and I think the manager has seen that.
"It's great to sign for Cardiff City. Everything about this club is set up for us to be a Premier League side."
