Jay back soon
Cardiff expect striker Jay Bothroyd to miss only one match following the hamstring strain he sustained in Saturday`s 1-1 draw at home to Preston.
The recently-capped England international limped out of the game after picking up the injury but is set to miss only the trip to Middlesbrough this coming weekend.
A club statement said: "Following consultation with the club's medical staff, we can officially confirm that Jay Bothroyd's hamstring injury should keep him out of action for no more than one Championship game.
"That game will be at Middlesbrough this coming Saturday - though the medical team are confident that the Bluebirds' top scorer should be back in contention for the clash at home to Burnley on December 18."
