Ipswich switch interest to McCormack

09 August 2010 13:51
It seems as if Ipswich are urning their attention to Ross McCormack after their efforts to get Michael Chopra appear to have failed. Cardiff City are looking to keep their squad together and add to it but Dave Jones has warned that a couple may have to go to allow new players to come in.Ipswich have already signed Mark Kennedy from us and may offer forward Jon Stead in exchange for McCormack.cardiffcity-mad understands that McCormack is frustrated at becoming a regular on the subs bench after a 20+ goal opening season for the Bluebirds in the 2008 / 2009 campaign and might fancy a move.Ipswich's bid for Chopra has failed because they were only prepared to offer City the amount of money outstanding to Sunderland. If City are to have serious ambition this season then selling Chopra of strike partner Borthroyd is not an option. Hopefully Nottingham Forest will go away now and stop sniffing around Peter Whittingham.
