International transfers delay wages payment
Speculation that the wages of the staff and players at CCFC had not been paid were confirmed by the club and put down to a delay in transferring the money from abroad. "Following a delay in international currency transfers... players, staff etc at Cardiff City haven't been paid on the normal due date," CEO Gethin Jenkins said. "However, it's anticipated that these matters will be resolved in the next day or so."Fans have been concerned this week with the late cancelation of the Malaysian trip and now wages not paid on time.I understand that the Wages have now been paid today (July 1st).The Malaysian trip is being re-scheduled for 2011 when it can be properly planned.
