'I'll Be There' continues to get itself heard

People are starting to take notice of The Stand and their song 'I'll Be There' which is released next Monday, October 25th. The single which will raise money for the Fred Keenor Statue tops the Amazon pre order charts leaving Cheryl Cole, Westlife and JLS in it's wake. It also features in the top 10 most popular forthcoming records on HMV's website.AmazonHMVThe single is also available for digital download on iTunes.This week has also seen the London papers take an interest. 'Move over Cheryl Cole - world's oldest football chant to top charts' yells the London Evening Standard. And it even gets a mention in 'The Fiver' a popular feature of the Guardian.Today BBC Wales Music are carrying an interview with actor Jon Owen who is joined in the band by Catatonia's Owen Powell, Super Furry Animals' Guto Pryce and Funeral For A Friend's Ryan Richards.A week long tour of South Wales to promote the song begins next Sunday in Barry.
