If you ever wanted to score a winning goal against your local rivals then the 92nd of 93 mins is not a bad time score it. Michael Chopra's two deadly finishes sent a packed Cardiff City Stadium into raptures. Chopra's 2nd came in injury time at the end of a somewhat turgid local derby but that moment made the place erupt.Swansea had led and playing their methodical slow build up football (no wonder they hardly score) looked as if they may strangle the lifeout of the game but Chopra showed two moments of striking genius to stop the visitors getting a first ever League double between the teams and to send Cardiff to the edge of the play offs.Swansea's goal came direct from a corner. Ashley Williams helping to impede David Marshall and the ball went straight in.Cardiff hit back just just before the break, Jay Bothroyd winning a header in the box and Chopra producing a stunning finish into the roof of the net.Cardiff had started the brighter but Swansea had taken control of the match as the half wore on. They made many many passes across the back four and slowly built up towards the opposition goal but a lack of a ecent striker or dynamic front payers meant the moves broke down and they started again.The may grind out results but it's not great to watch.Cardiff welcomed back Joe Ledley as a second half sub and on came Kelvin Etuhu and Aaron Wildig as well.It was Wildig that set up the dramatic late finish. We were already in injury time (the board had not gone up) when City won a throw on the right. The ball into the box was headed clear but Wildig headed backinto the box, it lnded n space in front of a perfectly timed run from Michael Chopr who took a toch and then buried it to the joy of 23,000 Cardiff fans. The 2,000 Jacks were gutted.As we were already deep into injury time it was only a matter of seconds before the final whistle went and the scenes were reminiscent of Cardiff 2003 and Wembley semi final 2008 with City fans bouncing and sing "Who's that coming over the hill, it's Michael Chopra".It was emotional.City are now on a run of 16 points taken from the last 18 available and can go 3rd if they beat Forest tomorrow.7th place is 8 points behind with just five games to play. 8th place is a whopping 13 points behind meaning (barring a miracle) that only Blackpool offer a distant threat to City's play off ambitions.Well done City. A proud day for Cardiff.
