Mark Hudson is back playing for City and his return is a huge boost for the Bluebirds. The big defender has been in great form this season but got injured away at Millwall. He was hopeful of a return before the end of the season and got his wish when coming off the bench at Preston. Hudson played from the start at Burnley but came off after 30 minutes. Speaking ahead of Friday's clash at Reading Hudson, who came runner up to Kevin McNaughton as Player of the Year, said “The feeling at the training ground is very positive. “We’re massively focused for the play-offs and the players are ready and excited to take on the challenge. “We want to deliver for our supporters and we’ll do our very best to bring top flight football to Cardiff. “Cardiff is a great city and the club is in the position to make the next step. “As players it’s down to us to put in the performances that can get us there. “We’re extremely positive that we can achieve this, starting tomorrow night.
