Patient Craig waiting for a Premier League chance.

After scoring a cracker in Tuesday's Capital One Cup tie at West Ham, Craig Noone is hoping his stunning strike will accelerate his wait for Premier League football.

Noone has made two appearances this season, both in the cup, and after City finaly lost 3 - 2 at Upton Park Noone hopes his next action will be soon in the Premier League.

As a player who's risen from non-league football Noone is aware that sometimes things take time.

"Everyone wants to play, there were 11 changes (against West Ham)," Noone said.

"The 11 that were out there just want to play football and prove themselves, and get in the manager's head.

"It's been a bit frustrating not playing but that's acceptable," Noone added.

"The rise that I've come from - from non-League - I know that it's patience.

"I waited five years to be a pro and I think I can wait a bit more for my chance [in the Premier League], so I'll be working hard.

"It was a good goal but it's not about the goal really, it's about the result and it was disappointing to lose."
