Hamstring concerns for Taylor

22 September 2011 12:15
Andrew Taylor was withdrawn from last night's match with Leicester withy a hamstring injuury. Taylor was replaced by Lee Naylor during the game that Cardiff won 7 - 6 after a penalty shoot out. Taylor tweeted this morning "Not going to lie.... My hamstring feels horrific!!!!!!! Hopefully the scan today won't be too bad" It seems likely that Taylor will have to miss some matches. Cardiff play at home to Leicester (again) on Sunday and Southampton at home next Wednesday before a trip to Hull on Saturday week. Malky has the option of using Naylor or possibly moving Kevin McNaghton to the left back role and bringing in Darcy Blake or penalty winning Paul Quinn. Steve McPhail was also subbed with an injury last night. McPhail had a suspected groin strain just 30 mins into his first game of the season.
