Gerrard to evaluate future in May

Anthony Gerrard will decide on his Cardiff future next summer. Gerrard fell out of favour with Bluebirds manager Dave Jones at the start of the current campaign and as a result was loaned out to Championship rivals Hull for the season.

The defender is content with his form at the KC Stadium but admits he faces some difficult questions about his future.

"I`ve got some decisions to make when I go back to Cardiff to find out if I`m in their plans or not," he told Wales Online.

"There are a lot of factors so I`ll discuss it with everyone involved. I don`t think I`ve had a bad game since joining Hull but I don`t think every performance has been what I`d like it to be.

"I`ve set high standards for myself and I want to be the best player I can be, but if I can get anywhere near my performances in the wins over Norwich and Ipswich I`ll be happy."
