Speaking after signing for The Terriers on a two month loan deal Parkin said
"It's been frustrating down in Wales.
"Huddersfield have handed me a great opportunity. I'm on loan to January 23 and my aim is to do well enough to make the move permanent."
Huddersfield boss Lee Clark hopes Parkin can help his side to promotion.
"Jon is a player I have been watching for a long time, and I believe he can bring something to what we’re trying to do in terms of promotion."
