Free Wales v England ticket for Keenor helpers

08 March 2011 22:34
The Fred Keenor Statue Appeal has been given the go-ahead by the FAW to carry out a bucket collection on the afternoon of the sell-out Wales-England game on Saturday, March 26th. The appeal committee is looking for a limited number of volunteers to shake buckets and collect money for the statue appeal.  And everyone who helps out will be given a free ticket to the big match, courtesy of the FAW.  So if you are willing to shake a fundraising bucket please email us at fundraising@ccfctrust.org  giving your full name, address and a mobile phone contact number.  We don’t expect to finalise the arrangements for collection with the FAW and the Millennium Stadium until later this week.  But you will need to be at the ground in advance of the opening of the stadium to supporters (perhaps 1.5 to 2 hours before the game and available right up to kick-off).  You will also be given a Fred Keenor Statue Fund T-shirt to be worn on the day for identification purposes.  So if you can help we’d be pleased to hear from you. Please respond by Friday, March 11th.  PLEASE ONLY OFFER TO HELP IN THIS FUNDRAISER IF YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY.
