Feeney linked to Rovers and Argyle

Last week Cardiff City released several players who were surplus to requirements. Peter Enckelman, Warren Feeney, Tony Capaldi, John Magenis and Aaron Morris were all told their futures lay elsewhere and all five players are free to find new clubs.Riccy Scimeca officially departed as well but his career ended when he retired due to injury earlier in the season.City have retained the services of Miguel Comminges but only on a 6 month contract to help the player regain fitness.Aside from the usual speculation that Joe Ledley is a target for nearly every club in the top divisions in England and Scotland there is a suggestion that Warren Feeney could be wanted by Bristol Rovers. That would mean Feeney could remain living in Cardiff where his kids are settled at school.Feeney has also been linked with a move to Plymouth. Either way we wish Feeney, and the other released players all the best in their search for new employment. Two youngsters, Jon Meades and Jordan Santiago were both offered professional contracts.
