Cardiff defender Matthew Connolly will be out of contention for a further six or seven weeks after undergoing ankle surgery.
The 26-year-old, a member of last season's promotion-winning side, has not featured much for the Bluebirds this term and last played in September.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "He has had an operation and he will be about another six to seven weeks, I reckon.
"He's been on crutches ever since I came but the last week he has been starting some rehab."
