Coleman shrugs off Swans links

Coleman is Swansea born and bred and made almost 200 appearances for Cardiff's fierce rivals at the start of his career. But he is adamant that will not enter his mind when his Sky Blues side welcome the Bluebirds to the Ricoh Arena.[LNB]"I'm a Swansea boy and with Swansea-Cardiff there's always a little bit of...but I've been to Cardiff many times with my family and everything and the people there have been fantastic, I always have a bit of craic with them. That rivalry is always going to be there," he said.[LNB]"But for us, for me, Cardiff City are a good Championship team and they're an obstacle we've got to get over."[LNB]He continued: "When you're a manager then you're different to when you're a player. Most of my friends support Swansea City, my schoolfriends, and I think they're thinking they want a Swansea City v Cardiff City play-off final. So that's what they're looking at.[LNB]"For me, even when we play Swansea - and I played for Swansea and have been a Swansea supporter all my life - I still want to beat them. I want to beat them just as much as I want to beat any other team. I just want to win and Cardiff's no different."[LNB][LNB]
