City set to loan Jason Brown

The Bluebirds have turned to Blackburn Rovers in their quest for a keeper to cover the injuries to our current custodians. After the failure to do a deal with Wigan for Chris Kirkland Cardiff have moved a little further North and are closing in on Welshman Jason Brown. The player himself tweeted this afternoon 'Hi tweeps, I said I'll hopefully have some news it seems like I'm off to Cardiff so really excited!' Brown is a former Gillingham keeper where he made over 120 appearances. The last four years have been quite barren in terms of first team football with barely a couple of dozen appearances between Blackburn and loan spells at Leeds and Orient. He has a couple of Welsh caps.
