City boss set to keep the faith

The high-flying Bluebirds temporarily flew up to second in the Championship table courtesy of the 4-3 triumph at Bramall Lane - helped largely by a hat-trick from the in-form Peter Whittingham, who has now scored nine in the last six games.[LNB]His goals have helped Cardiff embark on a run of five games unbeaten and, with top spot potentially at stake, Jones' charges will be desperate to extend that run to six against a Forest side who could be spearheaded by former Cardiff striker Rob Earnshaw should he prove his fitness in time.[LNB]Forwards Ross McCormack and Warren Feeney gained more valuable match fitness for the reserves in midweek after lengthy absences due to hamstring and hip problems respectively, and both will be in contention for a likely place on the bench once again.[LNB]But defenders Kevin McNaughton (calf) and Tony Capaldi (back) remain on the sidelines along with on-loan forward Kelvin Etuhu, who is targeting a mid-November return after ankle ligament damage.[LNB]The match kicks off at 5pm.[LNB][LNB]
