The Sunderland forward is also hoping the Bluebirds can use the Championship clash to get their promotion bid back on track following last month's 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United. On what could be the last Welsh derby at Ninian Park, Chopra told the club's official website: "I think after the Sheffield United game we would have liked the opportunity to quickly get back out on the park and put the result behind us but we haven't be able to do that. "But we can now on Sunday and there's no better game to try and do that in than against Swansea City at Ninian Park. "It's not going to be a normal game; all derby games are special. I've been involved in a few derby matches already this year and I've yet to be on the losing side. "Admittedly I thought that run was going to come to an end in the Severnside derby against Bristol City but fortunately Ross [McCormack] managed to pull that out of the bag for us in the end."
