Chopra: All to play for in promotion race

Michael Chopra insists Tuesday`s draw at home to Burnley does not put added pressure on Cardiff ahead of Saturday`s huge trip to Nottingham Forest.

The striker saw his opener cancelled out by Steven Thompson`s soft equaliser seven minutes from time as the Bluebirds dropped two crucial points. A 1-1 draw was enough to move City back up into second spot and, despite the late setback, Chopra feels they can head to the City Ground in buoyant mood for what will be a heavyweight clash in the race for promotion.

"We know as long as we`re not losing games then the manager and fans will be happy but we`ve got to go to Nottingham Forest full of confidence because we`ve done well in the last few weeks, like Forest," he said.

"It`s a league where everyone seems to be taking points off each other and I think people forget we`re only five points off top spot at this moment in time and we still have to play QPR at home. It`s all to play for."

Fourth-placed Forest were 10 games unbeaten prior to Wednesday night`s surprise 1-0 reverse at struggling Scunthorpe, although they have still not lost a regular league game on home soil since September 2009.
