Two Championship sides sacked their managers today. Preston gave Darren Ferguson his P45 and Burnley parted company with Brian Laws.Ferguson has been on thin ice at Preston. North End are bottom of the League and bottom of the form table. No surprise there at all.Laws had taken Burnley to within 2 points of the play off places and his side are 15th in the current form tables (based on the last 9 games). For perspective Cardiff are 23rd in the current form table. Only Preston are worse at the moment.Cardiff might be 2nd in the League but two wins from the last nine games does not make good reading. Jones should not be resting on any laurels.
