Carling Cup bits and pieces

The draw for the 1/4 finals will take place about 12.20pm on Saturday October 29th live on Sky Sports 'Soccer Saturday'

So far four teams are confirmed in the draw. Arsenal, Cardiff, Crystal Palace and Man Utd.

Arsenal beat Bolton, Man Utd saw off Aldershot while Palace beat Championship leaders Southampton.

Tonight the other four teams will be confirmed.

The fixtures are:

Wednesday 26th October 2011   Carling Cup Fourth Round   Stoke City  v  Liverpool 19:45   Wolverhampton Wanderers  v  Manchester City 19:45   Blackburn Rovers  v  Newcastle United 20:00   Everton  v  Chelsea 20:00

The 5th round will take place w/c 28th November, 2011. It will mean re-arranging the away Championship match at Coventry City.

It's the first time since 1966 that cardiff have got this far in the competition. That year we lost to West Ham in a two legged semi final.
