Kevin Blackwell's Blades are level with Cardiff on points and goal difference but are above the Bluebirds in the table as they've scored three goals more.Cardiff have a game in hand on United and Bothroyd hopes his team-mates can leapfrog the Yorkshiremen with victory in Sunday's play-off 'six-pointer.'"It is a massive boost being at home," said Bothroyd."Teams don't like coming here and we feel like it is fortress."The lads enjoy playing at home so it's good we have plenty of home games coming up so we want to give the place a proper send-off."And we'd move above Sheffield United if we beat them so that is an incentive but we now must think of going on a winning run that a promotion-chasing team should be doing at this time of the season."Bluebirds boss Jones, whose side have just twice in 19 Championship matches, praised the Cardiff faithful for inspiring their team to a last-gasp 2-1 win over Watford on Wednesday."No-one left early and the fans kept pushing the team on," said Jones."The players responded to the fans - we were all as one."We love playing at home and you can see that in our results."We have to play teams around us like Burnley, Preston and Swansea so if we take points off them, that will consolidate our play-off position."Bothroyd added: "We want to give the fans top-flight football as much as we all want to play in the Premier League."
