Return of Chamakh?
Marouane Chamakh and Kieran Richardson will hope to make their Cardiff debuts against Sheffield Wednesday.

However, the trip to the Welsh capital will come too soon for Lucas Joao. The forward has not featured since August 27 because of a groin problem but Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal expects him to be available again shortly.
Carvalhal will make a late decision on his team selection after pointing out Cardiff's advantage of extra rest, having played Friday night compared to his side's clash on Sunday.
