Loan signing Tony Watt could make his Cardiff debut at home to Burnley.

The Scotland Under-21 striker has arrived in Wales from Charlton and he is likely to be on boss Russell Slade's selection radar.

Slade will also have kept a close eye on the U21s' development fixture against Watford earlier this week, a game which saw Federico Macheda (back) and Bruno Ecuele Manga (groin) continue their push towards regaining full match fitness.

Former Manchester United striker Macheda was among the scorers as Cardiff claimed a 2-1 win.

Manager Sean Dyche will be making a last-minute decision on whether Sam Vokes will be involved for Burnley.

The 26-year-old forward has been training this week after a groin injury but the manager will not decide on his inclusion until Friday.

Burnley travel to the Cardiff City Stadium after their 1-1 draw with Brighton last weekend but Ashley Barnes and Lukas Jutkiewicz are both still out of the squad through knee injuries.

Dyche is happy with his squad at present and made no signings before the loan window closed on Thursday night.
