Cardiff City have today announced the signing of Gabriel Tamas on a free transfer after a successful trial period.
The Romanian international has 65 caps for his national team and has previously played in Britain for West Brom.
Gabriel had his trail in Wednesday and signed a contract until June 30th 2016 which has now received international clearance.
He has become the fourth signing the Bluebirds have made this summer after Semi Ajayi from Arsenal, Sammy Ameobi from Newcastle and Jordan Blais from Bordeaux respectively.
Speaking to the Official Cardiff City website Gabriel said “I wanted to return to English football and out of a few offers, decided that Cardiff City was the Club I wanted to come to,”
“I've met up with the Manager and a few of the boys who I remember playing against during my time in the UK. I’m looking forward to training with the boys and getting out there.”
