The home of the Bluebirds appears to be getting a make over.

The club today announced the official re-opening of Cardiff City Stadium.

This summer Cardiff Blues left the stadium leaving it under the total control and use of Cardiff City FC. It's been expected that the badges and colours outside the stadium might be changed and it looks as if we might see this happeneing by August 10th when the official 're-opening' takes place.

The blurb states  Cardiff City can 'celebrate our history and showcase the present.'

Tickets are available free in advance via the ticket office, online and over the phone on 0845 345 1400.

There will be a hog roast, fairground rides, drinks tent and special offers in the store.

The following day Cardiff face Newcastle in a pre season friendly.

The evening runs from 7pm with the official opening at 10pm by Malky Mackay and one competition winning supporter.
