Capaldi eyes Bluebirds resurrection

Capaldi endured a torrid campaign last term as a knee injury and the form of Mark Kennedy restricted him to just three Championship outings at left-back. However, the Northern Ireland international, 27, is raring to prove his worth and force his way back into Jones' plans. "From a personal viewpoint, it was a terrible season," he told the South Wales Echo. "The worst I have experienced over my career. "I can't fault Mark Kennedy, who is an experienced and quality player. He did a brilliant job. "But I need to be playing. I am under contract through next season and keen to stay, but the main thing for me is to be playing first-team football on a regular basis."
