Business as usual for Ledley

07 September 2009 17:25
Ledley, who has captained his country of late, slipped while on a short break in Paris and sustained the injury putting his hand out to stop himself from falling. Bluebirds manager Dave Jones had given his players four days off due to the international break and, with Wales not playing at the weekend, Ledley joined the rest of his international team-mates as normal on Sunday. The 22-year-old is expected to be given the go-ahead by the match referee to play in Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Russia with a protective cast on his wrist, before wearing it again for Sunday's big Championship clash against Newcastle at the the Cardiff City Stadium.
