The London-born striker has found the net three times in the Bluebirds' three friendlies to date, including a brace in Saturday's 3-0 triumph over a President's Select XI in Portugal. And he is not prepared to rest on his laurels as he gets ready for a big season both personally and for Cardiff. The 27-year-old, who signed from Wolves at the start of last August, told the South Wales Echo: "I've scored three goals in three games and I'm happy with that, but I want more. I am focused on playing well and keeping up a good strike-rate." Bothroyd grabbed 12 goals last season as Cardiff missed out on a play-off place in agonising fashion and he added: "It's a big season both for Jay Bothroyd and the team. I want to be playing at the highest level possible - and that goes for all the lads. "We all want to get to the Premier with Cardiff City. I want to be the best player I can be. Everybody at Cardiff City wants to be playing at the top level and together we believe we can make that step up."
