Bothroyd set to get Premier League wish

13 July 2011 09:21
Jay Bothroyd has agreed a three year deal with newly promoted Queens Park Rangers. Bothroyd is a free agent after his Cardiff City contract expired and after weeks of speculation that included links to Celtic amongst others Bothroyd gets his chance in the Premier League. His last moment of genius for Cardiff was the stunning goal he scored against QPR at CCS. Rangers have been quiet in the transfer market with Bothroyd, when confirmed, their first major signing. They have taken Danny Webber on trial and are also linked with Keiron Dyer. It's thought that Adel Taarabt will be leaving to play in France. Good luck to Jay. We'll be able to keep tabs on him via Match of the Day each week.
