Bothroyd: Mistakes are costing us

Daniel Bogdanovic was twice allowed a clear run on goal inside the opening 12 minutes to set the Tykes on their way to a shock 2-0 win at the Cardiff City Stadium.[LNB]After an eight-game unbeaten run, the Bluebirds have now won one of their last five, with some questionable defending certainly not helping their cause of late.[LNB]"Once again it was schoolboy defending that let us down," striker and stand-in skipper Bothroyd told the South Wales Echo. "You can't expect to win games when you defend like that. To concede two goals in the first 10 minutes or so is just so disappointing."[LNB]He added: "The gaffer (Dave Jones) was disappointed at half-time, as we were, because they were poor goals. They can only be described as schoolboy errors.[LNB]"It was a massive blow to be 2-0 down so early in the game, but we must learn from that defeat. They did a good job on us and protected what they had. But we're disappointed because we conceded early goals again and it just puts us on the back foot."[LNB][LNB]
