Boss Jones recalls tough times
Jones, who was in charge of Southampton at the time - 10 years ago, was completely cleared of all charges after a court judge dismissed the case.
And he told BBC Radio Wales' The Back Page of the difficulty of
"baring his soul" in his new autobiography 'No Smoke, No Fire'.
"In this country, they always tell you that you're innocent until proven guilty. You're not," said Jones. "You're guilty until you go and prove your innocence. That's what we had to do.
"It was a difficult time for all of the family because all of a sudden I've been accused of something.
"Probably the worst thing I could have been accused of was what they did (accuse me of). The one thing they wouldn't take away from me was my dignity."
