Boss frustrated by draw

Cardiff manager Dave Jones was left frustrated as his side missed the chance to cut the gap between themselves and leaders QPR after being held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace. Chris Burke had the best chance of securing the three points for the Bluebirds but he was denied by Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni in the first half. Jones said: "They came to counter-attack us and we couldn't get the ball in behind. It was one-paced and we needed to move the ball quicker. We lost our width too much. "We had enough players out there with ability to open up the door. We just got very frustrated and tried to keep going down the middle when we should have gone wide. "It was up to us to break down Palace. We had a chance in the first half through Chris Burke and had that gone in then they may have opened up a little bit. "We have spoken after the game and will speak about it again because we will get more teams who will come here and shut up shop and catch us sleeping at the other end."
