Bluebirds won't rule out more additions

Cardiff boss Dave Jones may further bolster his glittering squad with the addition of more loan signings, according to chief executive Gethin Jenkins. The Bluebirds already boast loanees Craig Bellamy, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Jason Koumas, Seyi Olofinjana and Aaron Ramsey - albeit only on a month-long deal from Arsenal for the time being - to compliment the likes of Jay Bothroyd, Michael Chopra and Peter Whittingham. Striker Jon Parkin and defender Dekel Keinan were also signed on permanent deals in January, with Chris Riggott released and loanees Danny Drinkwater and Andy Keogh leaving the Welsh capital last month. But with the emergency loan window having now reopened until late March, Jenkins has not ruled out more strengthening on Jones` part to ensure the club`s promotion dream is realised, yet he is firmly aware any activity must fall within budget. "I speak to Dave Jones several times a day," said Jenkins in the Western Mail. "Dave never stops pushing on a daily basis, seven days a week. He always wants a couple more players. "An emergency transfer window opens and Dave will be pushing again. We'll have another look at the right time."
