Chairman Peter Ridsdale has confirmed a deal has been reached in principle to form a 'strategic marketing alliance' with Football Focus Asia to help City break into the Asian market. "The Far East market is one of the largest in the world and their appetite for English football is already proven," said Ridsdale. "This alliance with Football Focus Asia and its partners underlines the vision that Cardiff City's management has to become a force within the English football leagues and to take the club to a worldwide fan base. "While currently enjoying success within the Championship, it is hoped that this alliance and the benefits it can bring will add to the domestic platform that has recently been established with our new stadium and training ground, and thereby enable us to bring and maintain Premier League status to Cardiff. "It is hoped there will be further announcements regarding this relationship in the near future."
