Bluebirds reject Burnley bid for Whitts
The Bluebirds have rejected a bid from Burnely thought to be between £1.5 and £1.75m for Peter Whittingham. Burnley could come back with an improved offer and Nottingham Forest, who have been previously linked, are still lurking.Cardiff are in a position where they do not have to sell with the new Malaysian investors keen to see the club challenge again this season for promotion.An offer though of "silly money" say around £3m may be too difficult to turn down.
